The Typewriter Artist

Paul Smith has cerebral palsy. It was at the age of sixteen when he first spoke, and just about as long until he could walk. Most of his life has been spent in a nursing home — but with a typewriter he creates amazing images.

Instead of composing words on the paper, he creates detailed masterpieces. Paul’s passion for his work is “something to do” he claims. Paul has inspired many people at his nursing home. Many of his artistic works are hung throughout the hallways of the building. Here is a short video below, about Paul and his artwork.
