Fear and the Rising of Vibrational Consciousness

When you are traveling along with your spiritual journey, you will come to understand that fear can be a catalyst for multiple blocks, as you arrive at many different locked doors, usually unbeknown to you, which if opened can lead to wider awakenings.

One may then ask, how do you overcome all these fears? The answer is not as simple as one may think.

While a greater understanding can be found through knowledge from information out there, information out there can also enhance and build upon the fear if that information is fear based and inaccurate.

Beliefs that may not be accurate, which have a basis in fear, can actually create and manifest situations to feed the exact fear which the inaccurate beliefs are based upon. Fear it self brings with it a vibration. That vibration is of the lower sort.

As one travels the path, one can either go forwards or backwards along the scales of progression. If you are wondering, in most cases it will be forwards, especially in this period of time we are living in. The forward direction, where one continues with the raising of their consciousness and therefore their spirituality, also means that they are moving beyond some of their fears naturally.

There are many types of fears in a persons life. One can choose to face those fears by overcoming personal related situations in connection to those fears. People can have various phobias which can bring in extreme fear, depending on the situations they face. The average person usually has a fear of public speaking. Some people fear leaving their job and moving to a new workplace, or perhaps starting their own business.

Some may fear driving. Some may have had events occur earlier on in life, which caused them fear based on certain conditions, which happened for a reason so that they could then overcome that fear later on in life. Once such fears are overcome, this would in turn make them stronger. Sometimes a fear may even be connected to a past life on Earth.

'Feel the fear and do it anyway' by Susan Jeffers is a great book for those wanting to understand and overcome their every day fears, from a psychological angle. Positive thinking and confidence can be a powerful thing. Each fear we do overcome goes towards increasing our personal power. The action of overcoming a fear unblocks certain energetic blocks and it raises our vibration as a result. This is another method to help with the growth of our consciousness and spirituality.

But the fear I am referring to for this article is not specifically related to the above situations. What I am aiming at here are fears related to metaphysical and spiritual based beliefs, and these such fears can not always be faced and overcome, especially if a person has a strong fear that stops them from even attempting to approach a specific situation. Also, the fear of death is not something we are going to be able to try out as it only happens once, for this life any way.

There does not have to be any direct interaction required to overcome all these types of fears. As the quality of a persons consciousness grows, in other words, as a person develops their spirituality more, and more, their vibration naturally rises along with that development. What this also means is that the persons circle of close friends will also likely change a great deal and they will be naturally wanting the support and friendship of those who resonate and understand them.

What comes with the rising of a persons vibration, also comes as a result of direct experience. That direct experience will show the person situations which will provide them not so much with a belief, but a knowing of what is real and not real. In addition to this progression, a person will start to trust more and more with their connection to their higher self, and the source of knowledge around how things actually function and work. They will no longer be relying upon finding answers from Earth based sources, but when they do run into answers, they will have a knowing if that answer has any truth or accuracy to it.

Direct experience in connection to a metaphysical nature, can of course occur at any point in a persons consciousness development and life. Depending on their current state of development, they may encounter situations and still have fear impact them as a result of still existing in a lower vibrational state. Those situations may just pertain to the lower vibration that they are still in, and what they experience may actually be manifestations based on their own fears, or a creation by their guides and/or higher self for their learning. But the higher their vibration raises, the less this will be the case. And direct experience is necessary for their eventual graduation of the Earth school.

One will eventually reach a stage where they are no longer afraid, with the exception of the fight or flight response which is of course a natural condition of being human, that we all should always have available to us. When I say eventually, it could easily take the average Earth based incarnate hundreds of lives to reach this point.

So while we can face more practical based fears, and overcome them, which will provide us with the capacity to greatly expand our lives into areas that are important to us, which in the end will usually pertain to helping others in some form if we have reached a certain stage of consciousness development, there are also fears that will just go away naturally, based on our new understandings of the situations they pertain to as we grow vibrationally and spiritually.

The sources of information that a person may resonate with, or follow, will depend on the persons current state of understanding and consciousness development. The higher the quality of their spirituality, and the higher their vibration becomes, the easier it will be for those to find sources which are accurate to how things truly are. But, information will only take an individual consciousness so far, as there are many practical exercises, activities and experiences which an individual needs to partake in, to assist with their development to a fuller and higher state.

One soul may come into this experience with a higher level of progression, so their time here will be unique in comparison to the average soul who hasn't reached that stage, as their are many routes along a path that lead to the same end destination, and it can be a very individual experience. So there are always exceptions to how things tend to work, when comparing such concepts with the greater whole.

We are going through a very important time period right now, within this one life we are each living. In addition to many other elements in connection to spiritual and consciousness growth, overcoming fear will be a lot easier during this life if we are going in the right direction along that path.

A good and a very important article. The opposite of fear is of course love, the strongest force there is.

Than's FF. I didn't want to make it too long, as sometimes the length can scare people off!

I always like to remind people now, from time to time when appropriate, what makes up love outside of how we perceive it, in higher dimensions. As its a bit different. So there are multiple forms of love. It's not just about kisses, hugs, butterflies and warm feelings.

You are so right, fear can lead to complacency. I have worked at the same job for 15 years. It pays just enough to keep me, but not enough to be able to afford anything optional. I have never had a vacation. My SOUL is screaming at me to leave and find a better job, and it is very scary. But I don't have a choice, as the voice just keeps getting louder and louder, LOL.
Also, my husband was sick and I lived for years in fear of losing him. I didn't lose him to illness, but to suicide. There was no amount of prevention to keep him from exiting the planet. One way or another, we will have to confront our fears. IF we don't go to them, they will come to us force our hand. That's what being human is all about, I guess...kicking fear's a**, haha.Caroline

Caroline, I'm sure that was very hard to go through and I'm sorry to hear about what happened to him.

I know very well what it is like, all those fears we get in connection to our daily survival based jobs.

We will be faced with pressure to change, usually based upon our path and planned contract and with the help of our guides and the guides of others I suspect. So even if we have fear about doing something, we may be pushed into a corner where we have to take action and overcome any fear which is stopping us.

Many years ago I heard the commons saying that whatever doesn't kill us, makes us stronger. I didn't realise what that actually meant until I had some more life experience which proved to me that it was true.

Another great post Laron. :D and a side question about the duality of love and fear. Do you believe that the opposite of love is fear? I've read and believe that love is in a whole different ballpark than fear and shouldn't be thought to be the opposite (since the truth isn't just black and white). It is easier; however, to explain it as the polar opposite to understand it that is. So, what do you think?

Laron said...

Agnysse, thanks.

Brian, my immediate reaction to the 'love being the opposite of fear', right now, is that they don't really have much to do with each other and that these are just human labels which have been put together and compared in that way out of convenience.

I don't think we can really comprehend the true meaning of what love actually is without having a direct experience outside of what we perceive here, with it, and not only that, it would probably take multiple levels of existence, possibly simultaneously, to really get the full understanding of what love is. It would be a state of existence and a state of being way beyond here.

Where fear, is very simple. It's also contained and limited to the denser and lower vibrations (dimensions). For example, if we are existing beyond the 5th dimension, fear would not be something we would be dealing with at all, in my opinion. It's just a construct of existence below that, based on limited spiritual development and understandings.

It's there for our growth of course, it's necessary and part of the whole process. As everything serves a purpose.

Great post, Laron! As I see it, fear is simply the complete absence of Love and the profound sense of separation from Source.

I agree that fear is a necessary part of the growth process, but I'm tired of experiencing a steady diet of it and its associated emotions.

The more I realize how close we truly are to Source (we ARE Source), the less I experience those less desirable feelings!
