Re the Russian military official's statement - The statement is nothing more than a response to a reporter's question. It really only shows where the reporter's head, and is an inane question. "Do you think that if they have the capability to travel interstellar, intergalactically etc. that we may be outgunned as it were, to defend ourselves if they came to invade us as such? Do you think that as they clearly are here, that if they wanted to shoot at us and invade us, they would have done so already, Mr. Dufas?", what do you think?"....would have been my reply, maybe that's why I'm not a government official. :)
