'The Sun goes strangely quiet' - SpaceWeather.com update

Spaceweather.com released this information only hours ago. Its a good update on the status of the solar maximum and a follow up to my post yesterday about NASA's own update and prediction.

Note that within the article you will find two links leading elsewhere. The first is to a NASA article posted on the 5th of August talking about the Sun being due for a Magnetic Field flip,

...and the second is a YouTube link to a NASA video that shows a number of graphs in relation to the sun coming up to a double solar maximum peak. What this means is that the solar maximum this year may yet have another peak to go, where we would see a series of larger solar flares, possibly x class again before the solar maximum is fully completed in this 11 year cycle.
